Phil Lomas has joined Prowood Ltd as Managing Director bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience from within the timber trade.
Phil is married with 2 children, starting life as a professional footballer but retiring early with an injury. Phil has worked across the timber industry with Saint Gobain, Burbidge, Brooks and James Latham, having previously run manufacturing and retail operations.
What are you looking forward to most about your new challenge? “Working with a great team, it’s a great business with vast experience and expertise. The Prowood name is synonymous with high quality and excellence service, improving on this will be a fantastic opportunity.”
What are your hobbies? “My hobbies revolve around sport, my dog and travelling. It’s important to make time to unwind.”
How long have you been in the timber trade? “Whilst I never intended to stay in timber after specialising in manufacturing and retail, the people are hard to walk away from, nearly 25 years.”
