MATCH REPORT | SALFORD RED DEVILS 54-18 HULL FC

The Red Devils made a thrilling return to Super League action, scoring ten tries in their emphatic victory over Hull FC.
Tui Lolohea provided a man of the match performance and was one of three players to claim a brace of tries, along with Rhys Williams and Ken Sio.
Albert Kelly’s early try put Salford behind for the only time in the match.
Lolohea then took control of the game, with an unplayable spell. First he sent a cut-out pass for Sio to score down the flank, then followed up with quick-fire double of his own.
The Tongan international dummied right and then forced his way through former teammate Josh Jones, then chased down a kick from Sio to claim his second.
Williams then proved Salford could threaten down both flanks, after Josh Johnson had put a thundering tackle in on Mahe Fonua.
Hull pulled one back before the break, with Manu Ma’u scrambling across the line.
Halftime: Salford Red Devils 22 - Hull FC 12
Hull looked to start fast once more, but were left demoralised when Chris Atkin intercepted a pass from Kelly and race the length of the field to score.
Jamie Shaul hit-back for Hull soon after, but the Red Devils remained in control.
Luke Yates claimed a Lolohea chip and showed great determination to score and then Williams sealed the result, by touching down a delicate Atkin grubber-kick.
Play then switched back to the other flank, as Lolohea impressed further, putting Kris Welham in with a grubber-kick and then recreating Sio’s first try.
Niall Evalds then concluded the scoring in the final minute, after claiming another well placed kick from Atkin.
