Over the next few months we are focusing on “a day in the life” of the Prowood team.
Meet Mr Alex Wood - Wood by name and Wood by nature.
Alex has progressed through 15 years in the timber trade, initially spending time measuring hardwood, managing transport, planning production and then moving onto managing a specialist softwoods department.
Now Alex is a Business Development manager for one of the UK’s market leading suppliers of specialist timber products. Alex specialises in sales of laminated hardwood/softwood components and timber cladding/decking.

Outside work Alex spends most of his time with his wife and 3 young children. They are the centre of his world and whether they are exploring the park, playing sports or testing each other on maths quizzes you will always find the whole family with huge smiles on their faces.
After 15 years out, Alex has also just taken up playing 3rd team Rugby again for his local club, so who knows, maybe an England call up could be on the cards?
